HealthQE Consortium finalist at the Event Zambon ZCube, an Open Accelerator in Life Science.

Created in 2016 by ZCube, Zambon Research Venture, Open Accelerator has grown over the years, expanding its range of action and extending the call internationally starting from the second edition. Open Accelerator is constantly looking for innovators whose digital solutions will be able to define the future of health, thanks to the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, such as wearable devices, biomarkers, artificial intelligence, etc.

The goal is to identify startups that are designing new solutions for patients throughout the patient journey, from prevention to diagnosis, from disease management to follow-up.

In the three previous editions, 202 projects were submitted by as many as 20 countries. 28 startups took part in the acceleration process, of which 7 were awarded with seed investments up to € 100,000. The startuppers participating in the acceleration program, in addition to having the opportunity to create synergies with the companies of the Zambon Group, have access to a wide international network of entrepreneurs, scientists, investors, Venture Capitalists (VCs) and other professionals.

The Call for Solutions usually opened on 18 May and will be active until 20 July. The acceleration path, whose estimated value is approximately € 25,000 and which will last 4 months, consists of personalized online sessions and on-site sessions that will take place in OpenZone Zambon. At the end of the program, the best of the best projects can receive a seed investment of up to € 100,000.

In 2017 Edition, HealthQE was 1 of 17 Projects selected on 124 from the world.  

The Project presented was a new therapy for autoimmune disease using Electromagnetic Waves.
